Let's face it: When we said "I do," we didn't really expect to fulfill the "till death do us part" of our vows. And why would we? It was supposed to be forever, right?

Unfortunately, there's no curriculum in pre-marital counseling on how to be widowed. No one teaches you how to survive in a world that turns upside down when your husband dies, and you can't pause life to figure it out.

If this is where you are, we want to help. We're Widowing Well, a group of widowed women who are passionate about providing support to other young widows navigating this journey.

But here's the thing: If you're looking for a support group that sits in a circle, taking turns sharing sad stories, you may want to look elsewhere. We'll absolutely listen (and let you cry) if you have something to share, and we'll offer guidance if you want it. But we're not here to make you sadder than when you came. :)

Our goal is simple: to make you feel loved and help you realize you're not the only one going through this. Hopefully, you'll leave feeling a little lighter, a little less alone, and maybe even laughing.
