Let's face it: When we said "I DO," we didn't really expect to fulfill the "Till death do us part" of the vows.

And why would we? It was supposed to be forever, right?

Unfortunately, there's no curriculum in pre-marital counseling on how to be widowed. No one teaches you how to survive in a world that turns upside down when your husband dies, and you can't pause life to figure it out.

However, if this is where you are, we want to use our experiences at Widowing Well to help. We're a group of widowed women who are passionate about providing support to other young widows.

BUT, if you're looking for a support group that sits in a circle, taking turns sharing sad stories, you may want to look elsewhere. We'll absolutely listen (and let you cry) if you have something to share and give guidance if you wish.

But we're not here to make you sadder than when you came. :) 

We aim to make you feel loved and hopefully better, knowing you're not the only one going through this.

 

Being a widow can feel awkward after living a life with your partner; you might as well join a community of other awkward gals!
